Roadmap
Future Plans
Gilles is actively growing. Here’s a look at what’s planned or already in some phase of development.
Tracking & self-management
Quick-tracking widget
A home-screen widget for intermittent tic tracking throughout the day — making it easier to catch and log tic bursts as they happen, and giving clearer information about how time of day relates to your tics.
More context
More precise ways to log the situations tics occur in — not just when, but where and what's happening. Something like “eating in a public restaurant” or “sitting in a quiet movie theater” could make self-management easier.
Body map for tics and urges
Tics often cluster around particular areas of the body. A tap-to-log body map — similar to the existing Monitoring tool, but by body region — could help identify which areas are demanding the most attention.
Masking tracker
Concealing, or “masking,” tics and other symptoms carries a real mental and emotional toll. This tool would help build awareness of when and where masking happens, and the effect it may be having.
Knowledge & research
Knowledge Base
A searchable library of educational content about Tourette's and tics — organized from broad overviews down to specific concepts — with a reading list you can save articles to for later.
Community Research Suggestions
Submit and upvote research ideas you'd like to see studied. Visible to the researchers running studies on the platform, so your priorities can help shape what gets researched next.
Interesting fact of the day
A small daily feature surfacing interesting, anonymized stats drawn from the community — a fun way to feel connected to the bigger picture.
Age-adaptive language
The way Gilles talks to you — the words and explanations it uses — will be able to adjust based on age, so the app can speak more naturally to younger users and adults alike.
Bringing your care circle in
Parent / Caregiver role
For parents and caregivers supporting a child through TS/Tics. Learn about tics and other symptoms that often affect children with TS, log day-to-day observations, use that information to plan and support your child, and generate helpful summaries to share with teachers and healthcare providers.
Supporters & Partners/Spouses role
For adults with TS/Tics and the people who support them. Helps partners, spouses, and other supporters learn more about symptoms and day-to-day experience, get a heads-up when tics or other symptoms may be worsening so they can respond supportively, and share what they're observing.
Healthcare Providers / Clinicians role
For care teams working with individuals of any age. Makes it easier to share how symptoms are responding to different treatments, surface insights that can inform treatment planning, and keep everyone on the same page.
Community
Community Connection
Helping individuals with Tourette's/Tics connect with one another for a sense of shared community. This kind of feature needs a lot of careful planning to be useful and comfortable for everyone, so for now it's just that — an idea.
