Awareness & Urge Resolution

Awareness Training

Track how your ability to notice tics and urges builds over time. The primary goal of Awareness Training is simply to increase awareness, not necessarily to reduce tics — but as awareness grows, some individuals see an indirect reduction in how often an urge actually leads to a tic.

Competing Response Practice

CR Practice

See how your ratio of Tic only, Tic + CR, and CR without tic changes over time. With practice, many people find their ability to use the CR reliably increases, and eventually the frequency of the targeted tic decreases too. Below the chart, a statistical breakdown shows how strongly your ability to catch the urge and use a CR — before or after the tic — has actually changed.
